Regular Price $7.30/lb
Medium bodied and clean; very chocolaty cup profile with some nice citrus floral overtones. Lighter roasts will have strong citrus and floral aspects, a bit too much for most unless you love a sizzling cup. Medium roasts get very balanced, hints of floral and citrus fruit with a smooth and rich chocolaty undertone. Dark roasts get much fuller bodied with stronger bakers chocolate and smoke. If you go between a city and full city roast, one gets a nice brown sugar like tone while the cup is super hot, as it cool the chocolate versus citrus pops right out.Price:Price: Original price was: $7.30.$5.99Current price is: $5.99.$7.30/lb$5.99/lb -

This is a light to medium roast coffee to see it shine, a rare offering, we couldn’t find a roast level or curve we didnt like. Lighter roasts will have sizzling lemony acidity, strong red fruit tones and hints of a nice chocolaty factor – sweet edged, winy, fruity and floral. A cup bound to impress almost every coffee fan. Medium roasts mellow the sizzling acidity and fruitier aspects of the cup, promotes a stronger yet smooth chocolaty tone with some hints classic African spice. Darker roasts were much more chocolaty but smooth and clean, hints of the fruitiness come through still in the aromatics and as the cup cools.

We thought best served in the medium roast range, but tasty from light to dark. A very sweet cup at any roast point. Lighter roasts have some stronger citric/floral acidity, a little hint of a grape-skin like fruitiness and a spiced (herbal) chocolate undertone. Medium roasts build a much creamier cup profile, just a hint of crisp floral upfront that fades into a strawberry like fruitiness, balanced with a spicier chocolate dark tone. Dark roasts themselves are a bit flatter but still very sweet edged, hardly fruity but makes up for it with the fuller bodied more robust chocolate and spice notes.

Great from light to dark but keep it in the light to medium roast ballpark to see it shine. We couldn’t find a roast level or curve we didn’t like; a complex & chocolaty coffee. Lighter roasts will have a crisp lemony/floral acidity, a hint of soft fruit, balanced with a chocolate and spice darker tone; sweet edged, winy, and floral. A cup bound to impress almost every coffee fan. Medium roasts mellow the citric acidity promoting a rich, smooth & chocolate cup with some hints of classic African spice. Darker roasts were much more chocolaty and robust with complimenting roasty notes.Price:Price: Original price was: $7.99.$6.99Current price is: $6.99.$7.99/lb$6.99/lb -

A very fresh and tasty African. Enjoyable at any roast level; a medium to dark roast was our favorite. Medium roast points you get a smooth cup on the nutty/chocolaty side, sweet tea flavors and a hint of citric. A little herbal spice lingers in the aftertaste but very mild comparatively to most Africans. Darker roasts add complimenting roasty notes, a sweet and smoky chocolaty cup that is jazzed up with a little spice, lower acidity and fuller bodied. One can take it lighter if you want to boost the acidity and citric/floral tones but it does risk a little vegital note right at first crack.Price:Price: Original price was: $6.59.$5.99Current price is: $5.99.$6.59/lb$5.99/lb -

Nice and chocolaty with a bit of fresh acidity. A bit floral upfront especially at the lighter roasts. Nice lemony citrus tones balanced with a smooth and rich chocolaty factor. A little hint of malty caramel can be found. A bit more delicate of a cup than most Africans, doesn’t hit you over the head with monster herbal or bakers chocolate, quite smooth, clean and easy to drink. Works for darker roasts as well, bigger bodied and brings some of those rougher African bakers chocolate notes when into 2nd crack along with some smokiness.

Regular Price $7.39/lb
A very cool and unique Rwanda coffee. Smaller beaned coffee as a warning, but a very tasty cup, definitely premium tastes coming from these smaller beans. Similar to Maui Mokka, or our old Bob O Link Mokka (for those who remember). Not a Mokka strain, but processed and screened like one, bringing an awesome clone to the table. Wonderful fruit forward tones mixing with spicy chocolate like notes.Tasty from light to dark but we thought it shined at the lighter roasts best. A good Mokka clone, although lighter roasts will have hints of lemony floral acidity, red fruit, and a nice chocolaty factor – it is a smooth more delicate tasting cup with a sweet edge. Very easy to drink, makes daily drinker status nicely, chuggable as some would say. Medium roasts are smooth as can be with a stronger chocolaty tone and fruity highlights, a defined hint of spice similar to clove or cinnamon in the aftertaste. Pushing into second crack to touching will be great for darker roast fans, still a touch of a fruit note but pretty mellow. Retains the sweet edge and gets a little smoky.

A very cool Rwanda coffee. Clean, rich and chocolaty, medium to full bodied with just a bit higher than average acidity; more buzzy than citric. A juicer body with hints of citric and peach like fruit balancing with a lovely chocolaty undertone, an accent of spice that lingers in the aftertaste that pulls it all together. A way cool cup. Medium to dark roast preferred to build those nice chocolate tones.

This is a light to medium roast coffee, a good one to keep before 2nd crack. Lighter roasts will have some lemony acidity, strong red fruit tones and hints of a nice chocolaty factor – winy, fruity and floral. Medium roasts are smooth as can be with a stronger chocolaty tone and fruity highlights. We thought the best roast point was in the medium area, about half way between first and second crack; exotic but not overly acidic. Pushing second crack to touching it gives it a bigger body and hardly noticeable acidity, still a touch of a fruit note but pretty mellow. It will start picking up a smoky/roasty tone once you hit 2nd crack.

A tasty super fresh Rwanda offering. Lighter roasts are crisp and clean with hints of citric acidity (low acidity overall) and pretty potent spiced chocolate notes. A little reminiscent of a Kenya or Tanz at the lighter roast points but with mellower acidity. Great depth of flavor, within the lighter tones one gets a bit of sweetness and soft fruit tones and on the darker tone spectrum the spice ranges from a pepper like quality to more delicate dark tea. Medium to dark roasts mute up much of the delicate hints of fruit and spice but provide a very tasty chocolaty cup of coffee with a hint of spice in the aftertaste, a wonderful daily drinker.Price:Price: Original price was: $6.99.$5.64Current price is: $5.64.$6.99/lb$5.64/lb -

A wonderful more delicate Rwanda. We like this one best at the light to medium roast levels. Very sweet, medium bodied, hints of citric and soft fruit comingle with herbal spice and chocolate notes. In the ballpark of a nice Kenyan coffee, but a bit smoother and less extreme. Light roasts accentuate the sweet and fruity aspect but also the more herbal tones of the cup. Medium roasts mute up much of the fruitiness and develop the spice notes to more of a chocolate like note. Right around 2nd crack, the cup turns pretty neutral and chocolaty, into second crack becomes more of a smoky chocolate bomb.Price:Price: Original price was: $7.55.$6.55Current price is: $6.55.$7.55/lb - 7.35/lb$6.55/lb - 6.35/lb
