A very nicely balanced cup of coffee. A little hint of acidity upfront providing some floral and soft fruit at the lighter roasts, balanced with a semi-sweet nutty chocolaty factor. Super light roasts risk a little grassy/herbal but it straightens out at a city+ (medium) and holds up as dark as you want to take it. The darker you go, the more body and edgy chocolate the cup will pick up, once you hit 2nd crack, expect some smoke and roasty tones to compliment the nutty/chocolaty factor.

A great light to medium roast coffee. Delicate, balanced, clean, fruity and sweet. This is not a ferment bomb, the natural tones are delicate and well balanced, not hitting you over the head. An easy drinking lighter roast coffee: sweet, smooth, hints of lemony floral acidity and soft fruit, balanced with a defined chocolate like tone. Good body and mouthfeel, medium to low acidity. A more exotic cup that everyone will love. Medium roasts will start to roast the fruitiness out of the cup but still leave it very sweet, accentuate the body and mouthfeel.

Great from light to dark; this is the fruitiest of the two lots with higher than average acidity for Brazil, highlighting some citric & red fruit like tones in the cup, sweet and a bit more wild. Comparatively to many Anaerobic Naturals, this cup is milder and much more balanced with traditional coffee tastes. Fruity but not crazy ferment & boozy. Lighter roasts show a fruit forward cup, sweet edged, just a hint of lemony acidity with a slightly nutty finish. Shines at the light/medium roast points but tasty from light to dark. As one pushes the roast darker, it builds stronger nutty tones and starts introducing hints of semi-sweet chocolate in the aftertaste, a bit smoky if you get too close or into 2nd crack. Retains hints of the fruitiness throughout the roast spectrum but more in the background/after-tastes with medium to dark roasts.

A very fresh and tasty Brazil! Lighter roasts show lemon, floral & soft fruit contrasted by a nuttier (almond like) undertone, a sweet edged cup. The two combine for a hints of caramel, quite tasty for you light roast fans. Medium roasts are richer, more of a developed chocolaty tone and decently less nutty; mutes up the soury floral edge, retains a little hint of soft fruit as the cup cools. Fairly neutral tasting and very chuggable. A crisp, clean and semi-exotic Colombian! Great at light to medium roasts but works light to dark. Light roasts themselves are fuller bodied and pull good balance between a sweet citric/floral upfront and a semi-sweet rustic chocolate undertone, hints of nuttiness in the aftertaste. Great mouthfeel at the lighter roasts and clean tastes. Medium roasts turn the cup more chocolaty and robust. A hint of buzzy acidity in the medium roast range but hardly citric, great depth to the darker toned cup. Would consider it a smooth and rich cup until one hits the darker roast points. Dark roasts are smoky and roasty but very chocolaty and semi-sweet.

A wonderful very clean and smooth, sweet edged Colombian. Great from light to dark, our favorite was a nice medium roast, pulled the best balance between light and dark tones and was super easy to drink. A very chug-able cup. A little hint of nuttiness showing its Colombian roots, but all in all the cup leans more towards chocolate like, a hint of a soft fruit tone at the light to medium roasts which adds good sweetness without being too acidic. Good body and fairly low acidity. Darker roasts will get more robust and semi-sweet, but if looking for strong and dark, we would look at the other Colombians. Colombian Premium Narino – Buesaco Sareni – Washed Processed Top Lot
We thought it best within the light to medium roast levels. Jazzy citric acidity, a little floral some would say, a hint of soft fruit providing a sweet edge along with some wonderful darker toned balance, on the walnut/almond side. Light roasts themselves will be a bit citric, the cup is very clean and handles the roast level well, but needs a longer setup and a tongue that doesn’t mind a bit of acidity. Medium roasts are great daily drinkers and promote a little hint of caramel in the nuttier cup profile, retains just a pinch of citric acidity upfront but it really helps with the depth of flavors. Good body with a smooth mouthfeel. Dark roasts were equally as tasty but it loses the cool crisp citric, and soft fruit, that shows at lighter roasts. Full bodied with stronger nutty and chocolate like tones, a bit of roastiness but it compliments the cup nicely.

The aroma of this coffee is very nice; sweet with with a little spice & floral notes. Best at a medium to borderline dark roast. Sweet upfront with a hint of crispness balanced with a stronger toasted walnut/chocolaty undertone. A little hint of acidity at the medium roast point really creates a nicely balanced cup with a broad flavor profile. Touching 2nd crack builds some body and will add some smoky and roasty notes that can compliment the classic Colombian profile.

Darker roasts will deliver a much stronger bakers chocolate tone with a smoky accent.

Medium to low acidity, the cup does have some jazzy more floral tones at the lighter roast points, but too light & it will be on the nutty/grassy side of things. Takes a little fuller roast to see the chocolaty side blossom. Medium roasts and beyond produce a smooth and rich cup, more chocolaty than nutty, pulls a dryer peanut brittle like tone (some may say hint of caramel), more peanut than brittle but we all thought it to be a good descriptor.
