A very fresh and tasty Brazil! Lighter roasts show lemon, floral & soft fruit contrasted by a nuttier (almond like) undertone, a sweet edged cup. The two combine for a hints of caramel, quite tasty for you light roast fans. Medium roasts are richer, more of a developed chocolaty tone and decently less nutty; mutes up the soury floral edge, retains a little hint of soft fruit as the cup cools. Fairly neutral tasting and very chuggable. Low acidity and fuller bodied this cup shows the classic spirit of Colombian coffee. A little hint of acidity at the light roast points but risks some grassy tones. Medium roasts are great and contain that classic dry toasted walnut tone with a little jazzy spice note. New Crop Org. Comsa! This cup is nice and chocolaty, lower acidity and medium bodied. A little sweeter edge to it except for super dark roasts. Besides a chocolaty factor one will get some nutty/caramel/floral like tones at the medium roast points, gives it some nice complimenting depth without being too exotic. We all thought it was at its best right around a full city – smooth without too much of a roasty note and great chocolaty tones.

A wonderful super fresh Sumatra arrival!
A very clean traditional Sumatra cup. Best from medium to dark roasts. Fuller bodied with some nice exotic incense spice notes intermingled with a bakers chocolate and smoky cup profile. Light roast are not recommended (for almost all Indo coffees). Medium roasts were nice and balanced, a little lemony acidity upfront mixing with a bunch of spice and hints of an earthy slightly peaty chocolaty factor; a decent roast point for pour-overs or drip. Darker roasts were fuller bodied and very smoky with the spice lingering in the aftertaste, very low acidity; good for dark roast fans, espresso or blend bases.Price: $7.99/lb - 6.79/lbPrice: $7.99 -

Great daily drinker from medium to dark roasts. Good body and lower acidity, nice and strong semi-sweet malty tones with a hint of spice in the aftertaste. At the light to medium roasts it will show just a pinch of crispness and a hint of earth, not super citric but will leave a dryness to the tongue, a bit floral in its aromatics but not in the cup. Just before to touching 2nd crack gets rid of almost all signs of any acidity and adds some complimenting smokiness to the cup profile. A very smooth cup from a medium roast to just before 2nd crack. Into 2nd crack will get some edgy strength that dark roast fans will like.

A bit lower acidity and best from a medium to dark roast. For an African this cup is more neutral and chocolaty, has a little more character still then classic Central American offerings. Comparatively to a milder Honduran or Mexican the cup has hints of semi-sweet spice notes that create a stronger and more complex cup. Medium to dark leans it on the chocolate like side while roasting in the light-medium shows a bit nuttier of a taste. Medium roasts produce just a hint of acidity mixing with the nutty/chocolate like tones, if lucky one can detect a hint of caramel/floral along side of the more potent chocolaty spice notes. A good daily drinking choice, exotic but not too exotic; medium to full bodied and smooth, lower acidity and darker toned. Darker roasts get a bit more rough and tumble, strong chocolate and spice with hints of smoke in the aftertaste.
