A great clean decaf coffee! Good from light to dark. Lighter roasting will show a little lemony crispness, rare for a decaf. Sweeter edged with a little herbal chocolate contrast. Medium roasts cut out most of the lemony crispness and rid the cup of its herbal edge. Smooth and rich, medium bodied, with a more pronounced chocolate tone; a bit floral and sweet in the aromatics, adds to the drinking experience but doesn’t come through in the tastes. Darker roasts are robust and strong, semi-sweet and very chocolaty with a roasty edge.

Nicaraguan Jinotega Olomega Supreme SHG EP Washed
Rich, sweet and malty, a good example of Nicaraguan coffee. Best from a medium to dark roast. Medium bodied cup with lower acidity and a sweet edge. A hint of citrus crispness at the medium roast level. 2nd crack or darker the cup will be bolder with no citric component, adding some complimenting smokiness into the malty dark tones. We did also enjoy this coffee at a light roast; a softer and sweeter cup but will risk a little earthy/nutty/grassy if too light.

Colombian BCT Select Washed Processed is a classic Colombian coffee sourced from small-scale producers in coffee-growing communities across Colombia, where much of the coffee is grown and processed on family-run farms. This lot is prepared in the Excelso EP style, a traditional Colombian export grade based on bean size and a more careful sorting process for a cleaner, more uniform cup. Grown at 1300–1650 masl and fully washed before being sun dried, it offers the kind of balanced, approachable profile that works especially well across medium to dark roast levels.
