The Fresh Roast SR700 is the top of the line of Fresh Roast Home Roasters, the most powerful and flexible coffee roasting machine they have produced!
While the batch size and heat settings are similar to the SR500 Roaster, it can connect to a Windows PC for computer control which allows the saving of profiles, adjustment of roast and full control panel on your PC – via a 3ft USB cord.
The SR 700 can also be used without a PC – similar to the a SR 500 with a new digital control panel.
Other features include:
- Three temperature settings that can be adjusted any time during the roasting process.
- A new, easy to use Fan Speed Control has been added that allows the finest tuning of the roast

Good from light to dark! A wonderful clean supremo screen. The aroma is sweet, freshly cut cedar, spicy, with a touch of cocoa. The body is medium/full and has a mild and pleasant acidity. The flavor is very dependent on the roast. Light roasts are a bit citric and sweet, hints of a melon fruitiness comingle with a little nutty and chocolaty factor. At a medium roast, you will enjoy soft notes of walnut, cedar, and spice, a little crispness, with more of a caramel like finish. Very lightly oxidized (less than 10%), these leaves are dark glossy green and mostly still intact, with 3-4 attractive serrated leaves on each stem uncurling impressively to fill up the steeping vessel and infuse an amber liquor with a wonderful woody-nutty aroma.
