Green Coffee Beans
Over the years, coffee has grown to be Colombia’s primary export and it has become one of the top coffee-producing countries in the world. Its location gives it a strong advantage in growing high-quality Arabica beans using traditional methods.
Colombian coffees feature the most familiar flavor profiles to the North American palate. Medium-bodied, with a mellow acidity, coffee from this region often highlights a rich, caramel sweetness. A nutty undertone may be present.

A great clean, fresh and exotic Colombian offering. Great from light to dark roasts. Light to medium roast points were our favorite, showing the uniqueness of the offering very well. Citric/floral acidity mixing with a little soft fruit tone, pulling some balance with a sweet edged nuttiness. With the red fruit and more citric/floral components, it creates a link to an Ethiopian taste upfront but will balance with the classic Colombian features of good body and nutty tones. Light roasts are very bright, medium roasts get fuller bodied and smoother, darker roasts are hefty and slightly edgy, but bring some uniqueness over your classic Colombian dark roast, much sweeter with hints of floral and fruity overtones.

The aroma of this coffee is very nice; sweet with with a little spice & floral notes. Best at a medium to borderline dark roast. Sweet upfront with a hint of crispness balanced with a stronger toasted walnut/chocolaty undertone. A little hint of acidity at the medium roast point really creates a nicely balanced cup with a broad flavor profile. Touching 2nd crack builds some body and will add some smoky and roasty notes that can compliment the classic Colombian profile.Price:Price: $5.79$6.49/lb$5.79/lb -

A good everyday drinker – this Huila coffee is very smooth, lower acidity with a sweeter than average edge. Medium bodied cup with good mouthfeel, on the nutty/chocolaty side with a hint of fruitiness as the cup cools. Works from light to dark but we liked a strong medium roast the best; rich cup with an emphasis on the smooth nutty/chocolate tones. Lighter roasting accentuates a little lemony crispness and more noticeable fruitiness. Darker roasts are a little stronger and less neutral (smooth), more smoky and roasty but still sweet.Price:Price: $5.79$6.79/lb$5.79/lb -

Great medium to dark roast decaf beans. A good everyday drinker, very smooth with pretty low acidity and a very sweet edge. The cup contains traditional Colombian tones (nutty and chocolaty) with a little spice in the aftertaste. Hints of a soft fruit tone as the cup cools. A little thinner bodied than the MWP. Darker roasts will deliver a much stronger bakers chocolate tone with a smoky accent.
