Description
New 2017/18 crop!
This cup is sourced from Fazendinha, a 225-acre estate located in the municipality of Perdizes within the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Fazendinha is owned by Ricardo Aguiar, who manages the estate with cutting edge methods which include innovations in plant nutrition, selective picking protocols, and drying and storage infrastructure designed to preserve the shelf life of the coffee. Fazendinha also has its own cupping lab that provides immediate feedback for improving farm management and processing protocols.
Roasting Notes:
Medium to dark roast beans and very easy to roast. A medium roast was preferred around here. The smooth and semi-sweet chocolaty tones were fantastic. Dark roast fans will think it to be a little mild at a medium roast and should take it into 2nd crack.
