Yes but it is variable, most can go to between 6-8 ounces with the extension tube. High chaff coffees are 6 ounces or less.

I find the roasting is faster than without the extension. I have done 2 batches so far and noticed when I switched to the cooling cycle my color was perfect but as the beans cooled they got darker. Possibly because of the larger volume of beans. On my second batch I cut the roasting off just short of the perfect color and hit cool. I was much happier with the second roast aiming for a true medium roast. The first batch resulted in a full city color.
