Description
Sometimes we feel the need for a little lift, but without the potentially negative side effects of caffeine (causing that annoying “crash” in the short run and depleting our adrenal glands in the long run). Try these herbal infusions for a caffeine-free boost. Herbal Energizer elevates mood with powerful adaptogenic herbs, Winter Elixir enhances the immune system as it warms the belly, and Rooibos Herbal “Masala Chai” stimulates the senses with zesty aromas!
3 packages of 2 oz each, this bundle includes:
There is nothing subtle about this herbal infusion! The cup is vibrant red, and the aroma alone will peel your eyes open – lemongrass, licorice, and peppermint all contain stimulating vapors. The flavor is attention-grabbing and memorable – sour lemongrass stands front and center, but spicy licorice and chilly peppermint compete for attention, while hibiscus and passion fruit supply a syrupy body to hold it all together.
Ginseng and St. John’s wort are powerful “adaptogenic” herbs – they help your body adapt to stress and imbalance – so those who are sensitive to caffeine or who suffer from depression, anxiety, or caffeine-crash will find this infusion to be far superior to any tea.
Healing herbs are best steeped long and strong, so we recommend using 1-2 tablespoons of herbs per serving, and steeping for 10 minutes. If you like an even stronger cup, feel free to add more herbs and steep up to 20 minutes.
Steeping Time – 10 Minutes
Water Temp – 212 F
Ginseng, licorice, peppermint leaves, hibiscus, lemongrass, passion fruit, St. John’s wort, and lemon flavor.
A soothing, head-clearing tea with many benefits. The ginger is zesty and warming, and not overly dominant. The orange peel combined with the ginger creates a crisp, citrusy smell that enlivens the senses.
Ginger is known to strengthen the immune system, aid in digestion, and improve respiratory conditions. Mint helps to speed and ease digestion. Eucalyptus provides decongestant and anti-inflammatory benefits.
Herbal Winter Elixir can be a helpful aid in reducing cold and flu symptoms. It goes down easily, as it warms the body and centers the spirit. The recommended steeping time is 4 to 6 minutes and could go to 8 minutes depending on taste.
Steeping Time – 4-8 Minutes
Water Temp – 212 F
Ginger root, orange peel, mint leaves, eucalyptus, and ginger orange flavor.
“Masala Chai” simply means “mixed-spice tea” – though this version contains no tea, and therefore no caffeine. Rooibos boasts rich earthy and vanilla tones which amplify ginger, cinnamon and vanilla flavors. The aromas wafting out of this cup are fantastic, spicy enough to wake you up without any need for caffeine.
Mild and forgiving, it is impossible to over-steep rooibos, and it is excellent with sugar, honey, milk, nut milks, fruits, etc.
Rooibos is frequently used to substitute tea in herbal blends. The tiny leaves have a malty sweetness reminiscent of black tea, but also a variety of their own unique accents, with strawberry, honey, and vanilla notes, as well as earthy and tobacco undertones.
Steeping Time – 7 Minutes
Water Temp – 212 F
Rooibos leaves, ginger root, cinnamon, green cardamom, ginger and vanilla flavors.
