Description

In China, ancient tea traditions have produced an incredible variety of deliciously different green, black, and white teas – some of our most popular offerings include classic, minimally processed and traditional “Dragon Well” Green Tea, carefully cured and remarkably sweet “Grand Keemun” Black Tea, and a delicately flavored, aromatic and fresh Lemon Ginger Pai Mu Tan.

3 packages of 2 oz each, this bundle includes:

Lung Ching: “Dragon Well” Org. Special Green Tea

Astringent and spicy, complemented by a mildly sweet and buttery body, the bamboo and bean sprout tones of this tea taste like good health and wellness!

The hand-produced leaves are bright green, and because they are unrolled, very light and airy. The liquor they produce is similarly green, light – you may want to use more leaves – and bright, with pleasant hay aroma and superb classic “green” flavor.

Pan-roasted green tea from Lung Ching is renowned throughout the world. Lung Ching is literally translated as “Dragon Well,” the name of a famous spring in the area. There are many legends surrounding this tea, and the leaves of the so-called “18 original tea bushes” are annually sold for a higher price per gram than gold!

Steeping Time – 2-3 Minutes

Water Temp – 180 F

Whole leaf green tea

Qimen: “Grand Keemun” Black Tea

Hailing from Qimen county (spelled “Keemun” on old maps), named after Mount Qi which provides perfect conditions for tea cultivation in Anhui province, this superb classic black tea is perfect for those who love a deep red cup with full-bodied flavor, malty and caramel.  There are cocoa notes and just enough smoky complexity to make every cup an exciting taste experience, but it is the sweetness of this tea that makes it stand out. Even the aroma is like honey and berries, and a cup steeped with extra leaves will come out dark, rich, velvety, almost fruity in its sugary mouth-feel. Perfect for iced tea, also very good with milk.

Steeping Time – 3 Minutes

Water Temp – 212 F

Whole leaf black tea

Lemon Ginger Pai Mu Tan Flavored White Tea

Lemongrass shines through this tea, giving it stimulating vapors and a zippy mouthfeel, and boosting natural floral notes of the tea.  Ginger is present in the aroma, less noticeable on the tongue, but a pleasant lingering heat gently builds in the mouth, throat, and stomach.

This tea is not only an excellent after-dinner digestive but also a good daily relaxation break, as strong lemongrass clears the sinuses and lifts the spirits. With the very light flavors of white tea, this may be perfect for those who do not care for the taste of tea but want to drink it for its health benefits.

Steeping Time – 3 Minutes

Water Temp – 160 – 170 F

Pai Mu Tan tea, lemon peels, lemongrass, lemon myrtle, ginger root, ginger and lemon flavors
