Colombian Narino Supremo

$5.65

The state of Narino really produces that classic Colombian profile. Fuller bodied and darker toned with low acidity, the main tones coming from this cup will be toasted walnut mixing with a chocolaty undertone. A little bit of acidity can be found at light roast points but we recommend a medium to dark roast on this bean.

Description

This Colombian Narino is sourced from small family-owned farms in the growing region in the department of Nariño, Colombia. The main harvest is from April to August, and the “mitaca” harvest is between December and February. Small coffee producers pick and process their coffee at their own micro-wet mills and then dry their own coffee, typically on elevated tables inside solar dryers that provide protection from the rain.

Roasting Notes:
A very easy to roast bean. Supremo is a strictly large screen so all the beans are pretty well matched and it roasts nice and even. Being a lower acidity coffee a quicker roast is nice, retains a little more sweetness upfront. Medium to a dark roast bean.
